Clean guest data is the basic requirement for any efficient marketing measure, since 50% of the data generally found in hotel systems are not suitable for marketing campaigns and thus, useless. The dailypoint™ DATA LAUNDRY was developed to cleanse and edit existing guest data and reprocess this information to effectively address guests.

Data Export

With the help of an interface dailypoint™ DATA LAUNDRY imports all guest data from the PMS-System as well as from other hotel systems. This software is separated from the operative system and collects all data for subsequent cleansing and enhancement.

Data Cleansing

dailypoint™ DATA LAUNDRY cleanses the guest profiles in over 350 steps. During these steps, names and titles are reviewed, misspellings are corrected and lower/upper case adjustments completed.  Duplicate or multiple profiles are reviewed and consolidated. Country names, amongst other things, are standardized to ISO-Code and the completeness of e-Mail addresses is examined.  As an optional feature, addresses can be compared to external address lists or enhanced with geographical information.

Re-Import

Depending on the interface, the cleansed and corrected guest data is stored in the PMS-System and available for re-importing. Therefore, a data base with deliverable addresses is on hand for a correct address of the guest(s).
